We are seeking an experienced Web Applications Developer to design and develop front-end applications for our growing base of GIS web solutions. A successful Web Applications Developer will have experience in the creative field, including the abilities to create outstanding graphic designs, positively interact with clients, and contribute to developing creative standards and procedures.
A solid understanding of applications architecture and best practices for code development and deployment is also required. Projects will primarily be based on ESRI’s ArcGIS Server 9.x technologies – knowledge of these technologies and ArcObjects is desirable, but not required.
Qualifications: •3 years professional experience in creative web design and implementation •Rock-solid in front-end development; XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript •Adobe CS fluency, as relates to front-end development •Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment •Strong conception and design skills •Experience with Microsoft Expression Studio and Silverlight is a HUGE PLUS

Performs technical and administrative work managing the daily operations of the Public Works Streets Division. Responsible for the construction, maintenance and repair of City infrastructure including streets, sidewalks, right-of-ways and storm drainage systems. Responsible for leaf collection, heavy trash pick-up and snow/ice removal. Provides operational direction by establishing priorities, assigning and directing crews, training of staff and ensures quality and quantity of work.
